Phasing out Pincodes

Step by step, the container release process will become pincode-free.

In the Port of Antwerp, CPU regulation requires moving to Phase III of the SCR rollout.

For your releases, this can be summarized as follows:

 

Today, pincodes are no longer supported at MPET, DP World, and PSA.

ATTENTION!
As of May 17, 2024, no pincodes will be allowed for pickups
at all terminals behind the locks.

Are you ready for the CPU regulation in the Port of Antwerp?

For all containers released by MSC, Hapag Lloyd or CMA-CGM in SCR:

  1. you need to transfer or assign the release in SCR

  2. you must link your C-Point account in the admin area of SCR 

  3. you must login to your CPU account a least once (to complete your registration)

  4. you do NOT have to handle the release in CPU; SCR makes sure you are compliant

  5. if you have questions about CPU, contact support@nxtport.com

In case of questions about the assigned driver/barge/rail checked by the terminal with CPU, we can provide the following information :

  1. if the assign has been done correctly

  2. the date when the assign was sent to Nxtport

  3. if your CPoint account is linked in SCR

  4. if the coreor message has been sent to the terminal.

Do I have to register on CPoint?

Companies that use SCR in Antwerp are asked to link their CPoint account with SCR. Your admin can fix this with this procedure.

Can you transfer containers in one BL to multiple transport companies?

Yes, you can select a set of containers and transfer containers in one BL to more than one transporter. Learn here how to transfer.

What in case of a change in transport company/modus?

You can always revoke a release. Learn here how to do this.

 

Do I need a pincode for the pre-announcement?

If your container is a Secure Pick-up container, you will not be asked to input a pincode when creating the pre-announcement on the terminal's website.

What about subcontractors?

You can assign drivers and their Alfapass that belong to your organization only. This means that your subcontractor will also need to have its SCR account.
