• For all containers that have been released by MSC, Hapag Lloyd or CMA-CGM in SCR

    • you need to transfer or assign the release in SCR

    • you must link your C-Point account in the admin area of SCR

    • you must login to your CPU account a least once (to complete your registration)

    • you do NOT have to handle the release in CPU; SCR makes sure you are compliant

If you have questions about CPU, contact support@nxtport.com.

In case of questions about the assigned driver/barge/rail checked by the terminal with CPU, T-Mining can provide the following information :

    • the assign has been done correctly

    • the date when the assign was sent to Nxtport

    • if your CPoint account is linked in SCR

    • if the coreor message has been sent to the terminal.

For all other questions, please contact:

    • your Carrier Service desk; for questions about the release, status, …

    • your Terminal Service desk; for questions about the pickup

    • NxtPort for questions about CPU, via support@nxtport.com.

  • You can find all information about our Webinars here.

  • Companies that use SCR in Antwerp are asked to link their CPoint account with SCR. Your admin can fix this with this procedure.

  • Via NxtPort, SCR receives the Green lights, making it easier for you to check the status of your releases in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. More information is available here.

  • On February 7, 2023, MSC Belgium introduced Secure Pick-up at MPET.

With Secure Pick-up, you can pick-up your containers without a pincode.

As of June 1st, 2023, using pincodes at MPET for containers released by MSC will no longer be possible.

Secure Pick-up is currently only available for MSC containers at MPET.

More information on Secure Pick-up can be found here.

  • If your container is a Secure Pick-up container, you will not be asked to input a pincode when creating the pre-announcement on the terminal's website.

  • CPu, or Certified Pickup, refers to 2 different things:

    (i) The Port Police Regulation, from 2020, aims to replace the current PIN codes with a more secure alternative;

(ii) The software application developed by NxtPort.

All information about CPu is available on the website of Port of Antwerp and NxtPort.

  • Since January 1st, 2021, the Port Police Regulation named Certified Pickup has come into effect. Every party in the Port of Antwerp, involved in the release process of import containers, like Carriers, Freight Forwarders, Transporters and Terminals, need to comply.

Secure Container Release complies with the CPu Port Police regulation. In other words, every container released via SCR, complies with the CPu regulation.

Some Carriers use the SCR application developed by T-Mining, others use the CPu application developed by NxtPort, to release import containers. Depending on the Carrier, you will therefore have to use a different application. With both applications you are compliant with the CPU Port Police Regulation.

If you are not yet using SCR or CPu and still use the old PIN codes instead? This way of working will be banned in due course. So don't delay and use the SCR and / or CPu application already. In this way you contribute to a safer port.

  • Some Carriers use the SCR application developed by T-Mining, others use the CPu application developed by NxtPort, to release import containers.

Depending on the Carrier, you will therefore have to use a different application. With both applications you are compliant with the CPU Port Police Regulation.

  • All information about the costs of CPU and NxtPort can be found here.
