MSC Belgium first to adopt Secure Container Release
In light of constant innovation and increased security, MSC is going that extra mile in releasing its containers. Together with T-Mining, MSC introduced a blockchain enabled container release process.
Our familiar MSC release portal will be replaced by a new solution: Secure Container Release. With this new import release system MSC is investing in enhanced security. In the long term it is our ambition to make the container release process completely PIN-free.
Not only does this increase the security of the process but also the safety of involved parties, as the pick-up right is transferred directly to the end user and is owned by only one party at a time. With this blockchain enabled release process we invest in the safety of our employees and the employees of our customers as they will be no longer be able to use a pincode but merely transfer a digital right to pickup a container, making it more difficult for outsiders with malicious intent.
With Secure Container Release, we take an important step towards a more secure & safe port community. By investing in these new technologies we take our responsibility in better protecting our staff from malicious attempts.
